What Our Dental Implant Patients Are Saying

Hope D.
Hope D.

I love Cape Vista Dental, and I have been their patient since 2015. I had to call today for an emergency appointment and they put me on the schedule. I received excellent care and they given a referral for the care that I needed. They are very polite, and professional. Again, I will say we need more people who are customer-focused like they are.

They are so sweet and gentle during my cleanings or visits. I’m traumatized from the dentist when I was younger, but you all do wonderfully easing my anxiety. Thank you!

The most patient, understanding, down-to-earth, talented, friendly & professional team. We are beyond thankful to Dr. Yoon and his team for all of their hard work and their kindness. I have never met a team so prepared to handle someone with needle and dental anxiety the way they have. I highly recommend. We drove an hour to get there and it’s worth it! If we could give 100 stars we would. Thank you!

Dental Implant Options

Dental Implants Can Change Your Life

Single Dental Implant

Missing Just One Tooth?
Missing a single tooth can cause a cascade of other undesirable oral changes – not to mention, affect your appearance.

With a dental implant there’s no need to grind down your adjacent teeth the way you’d have to for a dental bridge. An implant won’t fall out and you never have to worry about the types of food you eat! Sick of Cavities? With Dental Implants you can’t get cavities!

Multiple Dental Implants

Missing Multiple Teeth?

Missing multiple teeth can put you in danger of bone loss. Eating your favorite foods, speaking clearly and smiling naturally aren’t things you can do any longer.

Multiple dental implants are as simple to place as a single implant. With your missing teeth permanently replaced, you can start to enjoy life again!

Full Arch Implant Teeth

Missing All Your Teeth?

If you’re missing all of your teeth, you’ve already given up enjoying the foods you loved, being able to speak clearly and are likely too embarrassed to smile without feeling insecure.

Dental implants are the perfect solution for those suffering the loss of all of their teeth. The FIXED Zirconia Full Arch Implant Teeth (will be the strongest part of your body) is permanently PERMANENTLY attached using dental implant posts so you don’t have to worry about them slipping or falling out!

FAQ

Frequent Questions

How long do implants take? Can I really have my dental implant surgery finished in one day?

How long do implants take? Can I really have my dental implant surgery finished in one day?

Most of the time, the answer is YES! Most of our patients are excellent candidates for “teeth in a day” dental implants. While implant installation and temporary dental crowns can be placed in one day, most patients need approximately 3-4 months to completely heal prior to the final permanent prosthesis placement.

I have gum disease, does that mean I can’t have dental implants?

Gums do need to be healthy to support dental implants but that doesn’t mean you can’t take advantage of this permanent solution to tooth loss! Our dentists will work with you to treat your gum disease and get your gums healthy again. A lot of patients get implants because of their advanced gum disease. We can move forward to placing your dental implants the same day we remove them!

Do I have to be careful of what I eat, like with dentures?

Definitely not! Dental implants are just like your real teeth. Eat crunchy, chewy food and enjoy it just as much as you did with your natural teeth!

When I get dental implants, do you have to refer me to several different specialists?

Some dental offices need to do that, but we don’t! We are fully trained to complete your dental implant surgery from start to finish. EVERYTHING is done here!

Is there an age requirement or limit to getting dental implants?

Age is generally not a factor, as long as you are older than 18. As long as you’re healthy enough to come to our dental office, you’re likely healthy enough to have dental implants as the permanent solution to your tooth loss

I’m worried about the procedure being painful. Do I need to be prepared for lots of pain?

Lots of patients worry about dental pain, so let us put your mind at ease. For the dental implant surgery you’ll be numb and won’t feel a thing. It’s like taking a short nap and waking up with a new smile! About 90% of our patients come in the next day for a follow-up with no bruising, swelling or pain. Patients generally report tolerable soreness as they heal. Occasionally a patient will have some pain, but it is uncommon and usually avoidable if you closely follow post-op instructions. We’ll give all of the meds available to make things as comfortable as possible!
